Allan Rosen won his first Borgata Poker Open title by winning the 2016 $560 Super Stack Elevator NLH event. He bested the 290 entry field in the Event Center to earn $31,293 and the BPO trophy.

The Event 16 field is now down to the final 16 players and Rosen is still in the hunt. He is playing a healthy stack of over 400,000 and is inching closer to his second Borgata Poker title.

Event 14 of the Borgata Poker Open was the $1,000+$90 Six Max NLH with a $150,000 guarantee. There were a total of 239 entries and when the dust settled Shaun O’Donnell was the last man standing.

O’Donnell had his work cut out for him coming into heads up play with more than a 2-1 chip deficit. He was also up against a tough opponent facing Roland Israelashvili who holds 6 WSOP Circuit rings and over $3,250,000 in live career tournament earnings.

O’Donnell was able to double up in one of the first hands of heads up play and he never looked back.

This win marks O’Donnell’s first major victory and he will take home $61,434 along with the Borgata Poker Open trophy.

Roland Israelashvili and Brock Wilson went heads up to the flop. Wilson continued with a bet of 175,000 and Israelashvili raised to 500,000.

With the action back on Wilson he moved all in for around 1,600,000 and Israelashvili nearly beat him into the pot with the call for his last 1,478,000.

Wilson turned over for top pair but Israelashvili showed for top two pair. The turn and river were no help to Wilson.

Israelashvili doubled up and Wilson was left severely short and eliminated just a few hands later in third place earning $27,820 for his efforts.
